Guadalupe County Hospital 575-472-3417 GCH Fact Sheet Guadalupe County Hospital is a 10 bed general acute care hospital overlooking Santa Rosa’s Park Lake. We offer inpatient care, 24 hour emergency care, a full service laboratory, and x-ray and CT scan services. Our medical staff consists of both physicians and nurse practitioners. Our nursing department is fully staffed by friendly and caring nurses. Our patient satisfaction scores, compiled by Press Ganey, are in the top 10 percentile, in comparison to hospitals nationwide. Our patient satisfaction scores for our nursing services are in the top 1 (one) percentile nationwide. Guadalupe County Hospital first opened its doors to patients in August 1952. Plans are currently underway to build a new patient-centered facility on Hwy 54 and Camino de Vida. Construction will begin in the fall of 2009, and the new hospital will begin providing medical services in the spring of 2011. The new facility will also house the Santa Rosa Medical Clinic, the Guadalupe County Public Health Office, and the Route 66 Pharmacy.
